Danny Blurton

East Tennessee/East Mississippi Educational Representative

Joined Amro in 1999.

Danny is responsible for sales and service to eastern TN and eastern MS schools. He has a music education degree and worked as a band rep for Wright Music in Jackson, MS, for ten years.  He is an accomplished trumpet player who has played with most of the area’s symphonies and shows. Personal Interests:  music, fishing, and traveling.



LaDonna Gibson

Arkansas Band Instruments Educational Representative.

Joined Amro in 1998.

LaDonna is responsible for sales and service to Western AR schools. LaDonna received a degree in Music Education from ASU, and played clarinet in the ASU bands.  She directed band at Brinkley Middle School for one year and Bald Knob High School for sixteen years. Personal Interests:  music and traveling



Keith Sanders

Mississippi Band Educational Representative

Joined Amro in 1994.

Keith is responsible for sales and service to Mississippi schools. He played trumpet in the Carthage High School band and received a music education degree from Ole Miss. He directed bands at Hattiesburg Public Schools for two years and at Southaven for eight years. Personal Interests:  traveling, music and spending time with family



Janice Wood

Shelby County Educational Representative.

Joined Amro in 2002.

Janice assists Memphis and Shelby County bands with instruments and tools to make their programs a success and help children to discover music. Janice has a BA in Communications from the University of Memphis and played the trumpet in Jr. High and High School. Personal Interests:  travel, writing, and old architectural structures.



Reece King

Kentucky Educational Representative

Joined Amro in 2006.

Reece received his Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Arts in Music from Murray State University and he received his Master of Music from the University of Minnesota.  He then taught middle and high school band for 7 years in Kentucky.Reece is the principal trombonist for the Paducah Symphony Orchestra. He is married and has two wonderful children. 



John Emerson

East and Central Mississippi Representative

Joined Amro in 2014

Prior to joining Amro, he and his wife taught band for thirty plus years. Their bands consistently earned superior ratings in concert, sight reading, and marching including six state marching championships.
