Post-Covid Strategies for Music Educators

08.06.22 at 10:00 am

Educators have always faced challenges meeting the ever-changing needs of their students. Music educators, in particular, deal remarkably well with managing the needs of their large and often diverse student populations. However, like everything else surrounding our lives and interactions these last few years, the pandemic has changed a lot about education, too. Now, more than ever, students need a tremendous amount of support to overcome the deficit of social and emotional development that stemmed from a largely virtual school environment. The goal of this clinic is to discuss strategies that will aid in your students' progression to make up for lost time and make the most of the time you have in the classroom with them. Our expert panel of educators will be discussing things like:

  • student emotional health (behavioral issues, maturity, focus and attention span)
  • communicating with students
  • setting up and maintaining classroom procedures and expectations
  • and more!
