Piano Moving

We take the worry out of your musical moving.

Pianos and organs aren't moved  as easily as other furniture.  They're very heavy, typically weighing 500 to 1,300 pounds, and their uneven weight distribution creates challenges for even experienced movers.   Grand pianos must be disassembled to prevent damage to the top, legs, and pedals and to get through doorways.  Inner mechanical parts often need to be tied down to prevent damage, and all parts need to be handled and wrapped carefully to prevent damage to their famously beautiful piano finishes.

Amro Music’s professional piano movers have over 75 years combined piano moving experience; they know just what to do to protect your piano or organ investment.   They move pianos and organs every day, and they have all the right tools, dollies, ramps, pads, straps, and trucks.  They've moved literally thousands of pianos and organs, and are licensed and bonded.

Why Not To Move a Piano or Organ Yourself

Piano moving is dangerous.  Pianos are very heavy; if they fall, they not only damage the piano but often injure people and damage property.  Long-term back injuries often result from piano moves.

Grand pianos require disassembly and special tools. and are especially difficult to balance while loading.

The costs of professional piano movers are minor compared to the potential injuries and damages.

"I just wanted you to know how professional the men who brought the pianos yesterday were. They did a beautiful job under difficult conditions--you've seen my driveway. The pianos arrived here in Paragould without a mark on them, not even any fingerprints. They were pleasant, courteous, and very helpful. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the manner in which they worked as a team. Please give my congratulations to them for a difficult job well done."
