Maintenance & Replacement
Repairs of students' instruments are quick, trouble-free, and without cost when the instrument is covered by an Amro Maintenance and Replacement agreement.
Maintenance and Replacement, or "M&R", is offered as an option to everyone who rents or purchases an instrument from Amro. Because parents easily recognize M&R as a value, more than 98% accept it.
It works like this: For a few dollars per month the horn will be completely covered for repairs, adjustments, maintenance, loss, and theft. If chosen, the M&R is added to their monthly rental payment. If an instrument is damaged or needs repair Amro repairs or replaces it at no cost to the customer; if it's lost, stolen, or burned in a fire, Amro replaces it. There is no deductible or any other cost to the customer. The only requirements are that the M&R payments be kept up to date, and in the case of theft or loss, a police report is filed and a copy is sent to the store. M&R is also available to those who have finished paying for their instruments at a low yearly rate.
When an instrument that is covered by M&R needs repair, simply check the box under the "Repair: Problem" section of the repair tag that indicates the instrument is covered by the Amro Maintenance plan. Amro will repair it promptly and return it to the school, all at no charge. There are no hassles with getting permission, collecting money, or arguing about who broke it and who should pay for it. Since there is no need for an estimate and approval, M&R repairs can be completed and returned much faster than other repairs. Almost all of the instruments your beginners get from Amro will be covered by M&R, and many of your advanced students will have M&R on their instruments too.
Because M&R eliminates so many problems for directors, students, and parents, many directors urge all of their students to get M&R coverage for their instruments.
