Buying Supplies

You're likely to need music supplies such as drum heads, reeds, care accessories, mouthpieces, method books and gloves many times during the school year, often on the spur of the moment. If you think of things you need while your rep is there, he can often deliver them from the supplies he has with him. If he doesn't have what you need with him, he'll call the store and have them sent to you. When you need supplies in-between your rep’s visits, call your Amro in-store reps and they'll ship them to you. Amro has a toll-free number for band directors: 1-800-626-AMRO (2676).

Most of the items you'll need will be in stock at Amro. We keep over a half million dollars of band supplies in stock at all times. If you call by 3:00, your in-store rep will be able to ship them the same day by UPS. In most cases you'll receive them the day after you order them! Amro’s prices are competitive with Woodwind/Brasswind and other online retailers. If you find something cheaper elsewhere, let us know – chances are we will match the price!

Amro also keeps concert and marching band music in stock in the Directors' Resource Area. If you need an arrangement that is in stock at Amro, you can call your in-store rep and have it shipped to you. If a particular arrangement you need is not in stock at Amro, you might want to check with a large band music retailer like J. W. Pepper. When you find it in stock at a music retailer, they can usually get it to you within a few days. Special ordering it from the publisher through Amro is sometimes satisfactory, but publishers are often slow and undependable. The average delivery time on special order music is two weeks, which could be an unsatisfactory delay when the band needs the music right away. However, we'll be happy to special order music from the publisher for you if you would like us to.
