Amro's Band Instrument Rental Program
We've made our living out of providing the proper tools to beginning musicians...we've been doing it since 1921! We introduced the idea of renting instruments to students in the Mid-South many years ago and we still rent the majority of the instruments in the area. Amro maintains 80 full-time employees, many having music degrees and a dozen former music educators.
We know how intimidating it can be to have your child begin band for the first time, so we have tailored our rental plans to fit your school. You can rest assured that your child will have everything he or she needs to help on their way.
The Amro Rental Plan features:
- High quality, name-brand instruments
- Guaranteed appropriate for school band use
- No security deposit
- Low initial cost
- No obligation to buy
- Case and mouthpiece or bow included
- No long-term commitment (children often times change their minds)
Full Service. Amro sets the standard.
- 7 Full-Time Education Representatives that call on schools.
- We make servicing the schools our business. Our Representatives know what your band director's preferences are and will make sure that we get you fixed up with the right supplies and equipment.
- We have the largest on-site repair shop in the Mid-South and most of our repairs are completed on the same day.
Rental Frequently Asked Questions
Will the instrument I get be appropriate for school band and orchestra?
An important question since many instruments are not suitable for school music programs. All Amro Music instruments are school-approved types and brands. Every instrument is checked, adjusted, and approved by two professional instrument technicians. All come with Amro Music's guarantee of appropriateness and satisfaction.
Couldn't I buy a cheaper instrument from someone?
Possibly, but be careful. Many instruments are not appropriate for school music programs. Others are in need of costly repairs. If you buy and repair a used instrument and your child drops out of band, you're stuck with an instrument. A playable instrument is essential to your child's success in music. The initial months are the most crucial. Take care not to start your child with an inappropriate or hard-to-play instrument.
