Flute Care Kit
This is one of the most important accessories you can get for your flute. It contains everything you need to keep your flute playing easily, prevent frequent visits to the repair shop, and keep it looking new. It contains a polishing cloth, duster brush, microfiber swab, padsaver, user/care sheet, instrument tag, and fingering chart.
Swabs and Padsavers
Another important accessory is the swab or pad-saver. You can use these to remove any moisture inside your flute that will eventually ruin the pads and make it hard to play. A "pull-through" swab is a cloth attached to a string and weight. The player drops the weight through the body of the clarinet and then pulls through to clean. The "push-through" swab is a swab attached to a stick and can be pushed through the body of the instrument. Padsavers are similar to "push-through" swabs.
